Passing of the Supreme Vodoun Priest

Max Beauvoir, supreme houngan of Haiti, passed away last week at the age of 79. He was a biochemist who, in 2008, was elected to the highest post of the Vodoun religion of Haiti. The Zombie Game, the second novel of The Dr. Scott James Thriller Series, revolves around the Vodoun societies of Haiti. It is based on my personal experiences in Haiti, as well as Wade Davis' excellent The Serpent and the Rainbow. Rest in peace, Max Beauvoir. GS
